Derek Lee

Derek Lee is an experienced entrepreneur and advisor with a diverse background in founding and scaling businesses across various sectors. Currently, Derek serves as the Founder of 115 Grand, focusing on guiding thought leaders in storytelling through podcasts. As a Co-Founder and Advisor at Nodd, and previously as an Independent Consultant and Builder, Derek has been instrumental in business development. Notably, during tenure at Howard, Derek co-founded a venture-backed hotel and short-term rental portfolio with significant expansions planned. Derek also held positions as Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School and as a mentor at Kairos Society, where collaboration with young entrepreneurs is prioritized. Additional experience includes co-founding LG Fairmont, which successfully sold to Compass, and serving on various advisory boards for investment funds. Derek holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia.
