Charles Ottomanelli

Charles Ottomanelli has a vast work experience in various leadership roles within the IT and health insurance sectors. Charles has served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Health Insurance IT and Operations Executive Consultant from August 2017 to December 2018. Charles also held the positions of SVP, Chief Operating Officer and CIO at CareConnect Insurance Company, Inc. from April 2013 to August 2017. Additionally, they have experience as an Interim CIO at Total Care from June 2012 to April 2013, and as a CIO/SVP of Operations at Health Plus from August 2006 to April 2012. Charles started their career at Healthfirst, where they served as a VP, IT from June 1996 to June 2006. Prior to that, they held roles at NatWest Bank, Graphik Dimensions, and Doubleday Book Shops.

Charles Ottomanelli earned their Bachelor of Science degree in CIS from Manhattan College from 1984 to 1988. Charles then went on to pursue their MBA in Management from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business from 1991 to 1994.
