Marlishia Aho

Marlishia Aho, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marlishia'smost recent position was as a Regional Communications Director at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, starting in July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Executive Director and Special Projects Director at Midas Collaborative from February 2016 to June 2018. In these roles, they managed various financial empowerment initiatives and provided extensive management support for the MassSaves Coalition. Marlishia also worked at 1199SEIU from 2007 to 2016, holding positions as a Coordinator and Communications Specialist. Additionally, they gained experience at Republic National Distributing Company as a Centerra Wine Management Trainee and at Walgreens as a Business Management Intern. Marlishia started their career as a Resident Assistant at the University of Florida.

Marlishia Aho, MPA, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Florida in the years 2001-2005. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University from 2010 to 2012.
