Lane Shields

Lane Shields has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. They started their career at Johnson Service Group, Inc as a Contractor for Cox Communications, where they conducted test plans and evaluated different softswitch platforms. They also assisted in the Greenfield deployment of a PacketCable 1. They then joined Cox Communications as a Systems Engineer, where they managed the Cox Telecommunications lab and coordinated resources to ensure a stable test environment. They later became a Platform Architect, responsible for meeting with product managers to discuss new service offerings and crafting a long-term vision for the communications architecture.

Lane then moved on to work at Acme Packet as a Sales Engineer, where they identified customer needs, assisted with product selection, performed product sizing and configuration, and informed customers of new products and services. They continued their career at Oracle as a Principal Sales Consultant, before joining 128 Technology as a Sales Engineer. They were eventually promoted to Director of Implementation at 128 Technology.

Lane Shields received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Lane attended the institution from 1997 until 2002.
