Julie Short has held various roles in the professional world since 2005. Julie began their career as Manager of International Internships for Food for the Hungry, Inc. in 2005. After three years, they moved to State Farm, where they were an Agency Producer on the Sales Team for two years. In 2010, they joined Anderson University as a Senior Admissions Counselor, and was promoted to Assistant Director of Admissions and then Associate Director of Admissions. In 2016, Julie moved to Ball State University, where they held the roles of Assistant Director of the Career Center and Associate Director of Data, Operations & Technology. In 2018, they became the Podcast Host for Momnesia, and in 2021, they began their current role as Account Executive for 12twenty, where they are responsible for cultivating partnerships with higher education institutions.
Julie Short completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Anderson University in 2000. Julie then attended Fuller Theological Seminary, where they earned their Master of Arts in Theology and Biblical Studies in 2006. Julie also attended Northmont from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, Julie has obtained two certifications: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from Mindful Leader in 2021 and Championing Change: Applying Institutional Effectiveness on Your Campus from SUNY Center for Professional Development in 2017.
