Eleanor Mitch

Eleanor Mitch has had a long and varied career. Eleanor began their professional journey in 2005 as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2010, they were the Country Manager for the Centre International de Droit Comparé de l'Environnement, where they organized a $1.5M Rio+20 international environmental law initiative for the UN Conference. From 2012 to 2015, they held various positions including Head of Community Engagement for the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, CEO and Founder of EM Strategy Consulting, Independent Consultant for Institut HyperCube, and Head of Strategy for the Global Youth Climate Pact. From 2015 to 2017, Eleanor was the CEO and Co-Founder of 14bis Supply Tracking, providing supply chain transparency and ensuring universal system interoperability. Eleanor also held a Researcher role at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales - Centre Edgar Morin.

Eleanor Mitch has an extensive educational background. Eleanor began their educational journey in 1982 when they attended The Winsor School and graduated with a High School degree in 1986. Eleanor then attended the University of Pennsylvania where they earned their B.A. in Individualized Major & French Civilization in 1990. After that, they attended the Ecole nationale superieure d'arts de Paris Cergy and obtained their DNSEP in 1997. In 1993, they attended the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco) and earned their DULCO in 1996. Eleanor also attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne where they obtained their Maîtrise in Arts Plastiques (M.F.A.) in 1995. In 2007, they attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and earned their Conference Interpreting Theory and Techniques in 2008. Eleanor then attended the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and obtained their Post-graduate in Biodiversity Management in 2012. After that, they attended Université de Limoges and earned their MASTER 2 “DROIT INTERNATIONAL ET COMPARÉ DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT” in 2014. Eleanor also attended The Wharton School and earned their Certificate Executive Education IGEL - Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership in 2014. Eleanor is currently attending the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and is in progress of obtaining their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public and Administrative Law. Eleanor Mitch also has several certifications, such as the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme from The University of Oxford Saïd Business School in 2018, the Oxford Fintech Programme from The University of Oxford Saïd Business School in 2017, and the MIT Fintech: Future Commerce online course from MIT Experimental Learning in 2017.
