Adam Bursi currently serves as an Editorial Assistant at 1517 Media since September 2022. Previously, Adam held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University from September 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included organizing research workshops and presenting research to academic audiences. Adam has also worked as an Associate Cataloger at the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and as a Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where seminar courses were designed and taught. Earlier experience includes serving as an Instructor at Cornell University, focusing on writing-intensive courses in Near Eastern Studies. Adam holds a PhD in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Cornell University and a BA in Religion/Religious Studies from Kenyon College.
