James Edgell

James Edgell has held several leadership roles throughout their career. James started at Motorola Solutions in 2000 as a Section Manager, where they introduced the Microsoft Solution Framework and successfully managed multiple concurrent projects. James then moved to Motorola Mobility in 2005 as a Senior Section Manager, overseeing enterprise applications on the Motorola Q smartphone. In 2006, they joined Abanco International as the Vice President of Software Services/CTO, where they redesigned the core product UI and implemented an application framework, resulting in increased user acceptance and cost reduction. James later worked at Deloitte as an Engagement Management Director, responsible for custom software delivery for Federal channels. At McDonald's, they served as the US COE Director, overseeing the delivery of technology solutions to over 15,000 restaurants and leading high-profile initiatives. James then joined SoftEXIT as a Board Member and Vice President of Software Services/CTO, where they provided full autonomy over product delivery and designed SoftEXIT's newest product offering. Currently, they are working at 160 Driving Academy as the VP/CTO, responsible for envisioning technology needs and managing a suite of custom-developed revenue-generating apps.

James Edgell studied Computer Science at Northeastern Illinois University. James holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional obtained in 2005 and is also a certified Private Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
