Liang Y. Hsu is a Sustainable Investing Fellow at 17 Asset Management, bringing a rich background in alternative investments. Her venture investing and fund management experiences are greatly aligned with the mission of 17AM to catalyze public and private capital investments, through the formulation, launching, and ongoing management of impact-based investment funds to foster positive impact.

Ms. Hsu has worked for various reputable financial services and investment management firms, founded and managed a consulting firm to collaborate with fund managers on investment due diligence, and partnered to advise family offices on underwriting private real estate and private equity deals. Currently she is an investor at a multi-stage and multi-sector venture capital fund, and a co-GP of a newly formed heath-tech SPV. Liang’s wealth of cross-asset alternative investments experience has enabled her to readily source, evaluate, and select investment opportunities in companies across various stages and real estate projects.

Liang holds strong belief in the core value of sustainable investing, and is devoted to learning and reinforcing Impact Measurement & Management embedded in the investment approach and capital solution design to ensure double bottom-line returns for the investors and the societies.

Liang is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds a MS in Business Information Systems and a MBA in Finance & Investments from Zicklin School of Business, as well as a certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University and Hedge Fund Executive Program from Henley Business School.
