Zack Wortman

Zack Wortman has a diverse background in management consulting, public service, and writing. They worked as a Management Consultant in the Healthcare Practice at McKinsey & Company from 2014 to 2016, and served as the Border States Director for Hillary for America in 2016. Wortman later held various roles at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, including Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer for Human Services. Currently, they are a Practice Leader for Health and Human Services at 17a and a contributing writer for Health Affairs. Wortman is pursuing a B.A. in African and African American Studies at Harvard University.
