Gretchen Sandler

Board Member at 18 Reasons

Gretchen Sandler is an experienced board member actively involved in various organizations dedicated to social change and education. Currently serving on the boards of 18 Reasons and the Alliance for Girls, Gretchen has also been a member of the Women's Catalytic Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation since 2005, which focuses on empowering women to drive social initiatives. Previous leadership roles include membership on the Board of Trustees at The Urban School of San Francisco and The San Francisco School, as well as board membership and chair of the Board of Directors at The Women's Foundation of California. Gretchen holds a Master's Degree in Education from Stanford University, a Credential in Elementary Education from San Francisco State University, and a BA in Humanities and French from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
