Jalen Fertig

Jalen Fertig is an accomplished professional in the music industry, currently serving as A&R, Strategic Partnerships, and Social Media Representative at °1824 - Universal Music Group since August 2023. Jalen holds various leadership roles at 'Cane Records, including President, Vice President of A&R, and A&R Manager, while also directing the Phoenyx A Cappella group and serving as Vice President of Frost Ambassadors at Frost School of Music. Additionally, Jalen is a President’s 100 Student Ambassador and acts as the Student Government Frost Academic Liaison at the University of Miami, where Jalen pursues a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry and Entrepreneurship. Previous experience includes positions as an A&R Intern at Republic Records and a Warner Music U Marketing Representative. Jalen's involvement in the music scene also extends to event coordination with Hurricane Productions and a background in recording operations through an internship at Waysound Recording. Prior educational achievements include a high school diploma from Barrington High School.
