Kurt Bolland

Vice President, Eitoc Operations at 1901 Group

Kurt Bolland, PMP, CISSP, has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Kurt has held leadership positions in companies such as 1901 Group, where they served as Vice President of EITOC Operations and Associate Vice President of Business Program Management. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing customer operations and support functions, coordinating with engineering and cybersecurity teams, and managing current and new contracts for federal government customers.

Prior to their time at 1901 Group, Kurt worked at Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department as an Assistant Fire Chief, where they demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

At CSRA Inc, Kurt served as the Sr. Director of Program/Project Management, overseeing the operations of the DHS OneNet WAN and managing operations support teams. Kurt also worked at SRA International as a Sr. Director and Solutions Architect, providing thought leadership and technical solutions for customers and programs within the National Security Group.

Kurt also has experience as a Network Engineer at the University of Maryland, enews.com, and the American Chemistry Council, where they were responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructures. Kurt began their career as a Systems Administrator at NAEYC.

Throughout their career, Kurt has demonstrated expertise in program management, technical leadership, and solution architecture.

Kurt Bolland received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Gar-Field High School from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Kurt obtained various certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2009 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2012. Kurt also holds several ITIL certifications, including ITIL V3 Foundations in 2009 and ITIL Intermediate certifications in Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, and Continual Process Improvement between 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Kurt obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in 2019.
