Nick Rafferty

Nick Rafferty has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nick is currently working as a Data Engineer at 1904labs since August 2021. Prior to this, Nick worked as an Associate Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions from November 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they specialized in Apache Airflow and developed visualizations for COVID risk factors.

Before joining Daugherty Business Solutions, Nick worked as a 2018 Venture for America Fellow at Venture for America from April 2018 to November 2020. This fellowship program provided him with training and the opportunity to join a startup in an emerging US city.

Nick also has experience working as a Candidate Engagement Manager at LaunchCode from August 2018 to October 2020. Additionally, they co-founded a company called Airilo, LLC, where they managed sales, legal agreements, customer acquisition, and talent recruitment efforts from February 2017 to June 2018.

Nick Rafferty obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. Nick completed their degree between 2014 and 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Nick also obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they received the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. Furthermore, they acquired the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) certification from the same institution during the same month.
