Kevin Knoop

Kevin Knoop has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kevin is currently the Director of Platform Engineering at 1E, a position they started in October 2022. Previously, they worked as a Consulting Software Developer at Autotask Corporation starting from 2014. Before that, they held the role of Software Developer at CentraStage Limited from 2008 to 2014. Kevin also worked as a Software Developer at 3fifteen in 2007 and at Platinum Africa International from January to July 2007. Kevin began their career as a Software Developer at Attix5 from 2002 to 2006, followed by a brief stint at Solution Dynamix in 2001 and CCC International from November 2000 to April 2001. Before transitioning to software development, Kevin worked as an Industrial Engineer at Freeplay Energy Inc from January 1999 to April 2000, where they focused on designing assembly lines, conducting time and motion studies, and optimizing factory layouts.

From 1995 to 1997, Kevin Knoop attended Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering and received an NDip.
