Frank Räder

Frank Räder began their career in 1989 as a Praktikant in international project business for BlueStar India in Mumbai, India. In 1990, they joined Honeywell as a Verkaufsingenieur für Haus- und Gebäudeautomation and progressed to Projekt- und Startup-Ingenieur Großbaustelle Barcelona Spanien, where they were responsible for the planning, setup, and commissioning of control systems for HVAC and a UNIX control center with 10,000 data points. Frank then moved up to Verkaufs- und Projektingenieur für nationale Projekte, Vertriebsingenieur MSR, Fire, Security, Airports international, and Projektmanagement und -leitung Großbaustelle Athens International Airport (Greece). In 2008, Frank moved to Grundfos as Leiter Kundenschulung Deutschland-Österreich-Schweiz, where they were responsible for the control and leadership of the cross-country customer training department. Frank also planned, organized, and conducted in-person customer training, including post-training and evaluation, as well as the conception of training content for the online learning platform Grundfos Ecademy. Frank also developed, planned, and conducted webinars, and created a training concept with a focus on digitalization and integration into building control technology, including the setup of two training centers. Additionally, they were responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the department budget, and optimizing processes and workflows. From 2020 to 2022, Frank took a sabbatical for family time, development cooperation, and renewable energy. In 2022, they joined 1KOMMA5° as Inside Sales Manager.

Frank Räder completed a Diplom-Ingenieur Versorgungstechnik from the Fachhochschule Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel between 1985 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed a Zentralheizungs- und Lüftungsbauer from Zacharias Gebäudetechnik GmbH between 1982 and 1985.
