Marei Schröder-Löcke

Marei Schröder-Löcke has a diverse work experience. Marei began their career in 2009 as a Public Relations Intern and Internal Communication at Frotscher Druck GmbH. In 2013, they were an Intern at GALA Events for Norddeutsche Verlagsgesellschaft mbH and a Public Relations Intern for PANDORA Jewelry GmbH Central Western Europe. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Freelancer for Knueppel & Compagnon, Gruner + Jahr, Vagedes & Schmid GmbH, and sonnen GmbH, taking on roles such as Project Manager, Event Marketing Manager, Senior Account Manager, and PR Manager. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Head of Marketing Europe and Head of Marketing DACH at sonnen GmbH, and from 2016 to 2022, they were the Marketing Manager & Event Leader and Marketing & PR Manager at sonnen GmbH. Most recently, they have been the VP Brand & Design at 1KOMMA5° since 2022.

Marei Schröder-Löcke obtained a Master of Arts degree in Comparative Arts and Media Studies with a specialization in Design Cultures from VU Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaften from Universität Mannheim between 2008 and 2011.
