Avi Singh

Avi Singh is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the Security Development Team at 1Password, focusing on Application Security with specialties in access & authentication, device security, and applied cryptography since November 2021. Prior to this role, Singh served as a Senior Technical Officer in Intelligence Operations for the Government of Canada, overseeing data security and electronic surveillance initiatives aligned with national security priorities from August 2014 to November 2021, along with experience in offensive cyber operations and digital forensics. Earlier positions include management consulting at Oliver Wyman, research engineering for the Canadian Armed Forces, and various engineering roles in government and private sector internships. Avi Singh holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
