Boyan Torosov

Boyan Torosov is a Quantum Control Scientist at 1QBit since July 2022, with a substantial background in academia and quantitative analysis. Prior to 1QBit, Boyan served as an Associate Professor and Chief Assistant Professor at the Institute of Solid State Physics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences from June 2011 to July 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ocado Technology, a Quantitative Analyst at CLOUDRISK Limited and Deutsche Bank, and postdoctoral research fellowships at Singapore University of Technology and Design and Politecnico di Milano. Boyan's educational background includes a PhD in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and additional studies at Software University.
