Daniel Sobek

Daniel Sobek has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Daniel started their career as a Senior Device Engineer and later became a Member of the Technical Staff at AMD from 1996 to 2000. Daniel then joined Agilent Technologies as a Principal Investigator from 2000 to 2004. After that, they joined Zymera as President & CEO from 2004 to 2015. Daniel later worked as the President & CEO at Aiken Biosciences, Inc. from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Kernel. Currently, they hold the position of CEO at 1s1 Energy, starting from October 2019.

Daniel Sobek has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 1997. Daniel also holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the same institution, although the specific completion years for these degrees are not provided.
