Carrie C. began their career in 2006 as a Human Resources Associate for MicroStrategy. In 2007, they moved into a 3rd Key Management role with the MAC cosmetics division of Estee Lauder and opened the first MAC retail location in the Peninsula area of Hampton Roads. In 2008, they became a Human Resources Operations Specialist for The New York Times Newspaper. In 2009, they were an HR Associate II/ Recruiting Coordinator for BAE Systems. In 2011, they were a Compensation Analyst (Contract Position for Huntington Ingalls). In 2012, they became the Human Resources Director for Tidewater Physical Therapy, Inc. In 2017, they were the Director of Human Resources and Benefits and Senior Human Resources and Benefits Manager for Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group. In 2020, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President Human Resources for 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union. Finally, in 2022, they became President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Rewards, LLC.

Carrie C. obtained their B.A. in Psychology from William & Mary in 2006. Carrie then went on to obtain their MBA in Business Administration from William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 2014. In 2012, they earned their PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and in 2016 they earned their SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.
