Nixon Kitimoi serves as the Chief Investment Officer of 1Stock Limited, General Partner of 1Stock, LLC, Partner of Network VC and a Director of Pal and Lisa.
He is a Senior Consultant of Pal and Lisa Associates, Certified Public Accountants, where he has provided guidance on Audit and Assurance policies for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Government of South Sudan and led Continuous Professional Development seminars for delegates from the Government of South Sudan.
He has consulted with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Operation Wealth Creation and the Uganda Development Forum on sustainable development finance and alternative capital raising.
In addition, he works closely with DelMorgan & Co., a U.S. based investment bank with over US$ 300 billion in successful transactions that provides financial services to governments and institutions globally.
Nixon has helped Ugandan MSMEs, businesses at the parish level and smallholder farmers get access to markets, the ability to compete through financial advisory, cash management, and links to traditional banking products among others which has had spillover effects in employment creation, income generation and has contributed to economic growth and development.
In addition, he is committed to a long-term sustainability program, dedicated to going far beyond carbon offsetting. He has built an offsetting portfolio that includes; The Banscol Highlands Forestry Project and the Adani Group CORSIA-approved solar renewable energy project. Through his interests in aviation companies, every flight booked is at least 4 AIR Level 2 rated carbon and Emission Neutral and 300% carbon offset.
Furthermore, he has been allocated nearly 100 hectares of land from the National Forestry Authority of Uganda to establish a forest reserve to help mitigate issues caused by climate change. Through 1Stock Venture Philanthropy, he helps charitable organizations become selfsustaining and helps tailor strategies that help them meet their social missions.
Nixon played rugby for the Uganda Toyota Buffaloes Rugby Club from 2014 to 2019 and represented the Uganda Rugby Under-19 National Team in the Rugby Afrique Tier 1 Tournament in Zimbabwe in 2015.
