Antony Shum

Antony Shum is an experienced professional with a diverse background in journalism, translation, and creative direction. Since January 2011, Antony has been a freelance reporter for UNWIRE.HK, focusing on technology trends and creating editorial content such as event reports and product reviews. Additionally, Antony manages localization projects as a freelance linguist for 1-StopAsia and works as a freelance translator for CTC Translation & Localization Solutions. As the creative director at Discover Deep Japan from August 2020 to May 2022, Antony developed promotional content for tourism, overseeing project management and creative operations. Previous experience includes a role as a library assistant at Hong Kong Baptist University and freelance editing for Mediaisms. Antony holds a PG Dip in Photography Portfolio Development from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Hong Kong Baptist University, with further studies at Ewha Womans University.
