Jesse Hester, PhD has worked in various roles in the aerospace and engineering fields since 1996. Jesse began their career as an Officer in the U.S. Army, where they held four positions and was responsible for training 138 personnel and managing an annual budget of $3.5 million. From 2000 to 2003, Hester worked as a Senior Product Engineer at Orbital Sciences Corp, where they led the command and data handling team and managed schedules to maximize manning hours. From 2003 to 2009, they worked as an Aerospace Engineer V - Operations Lead at DCS Corporation, where they developed and analyzed operational concepts and planning for the BETSS-C Program. From 2011 to 2018, Hester worked as a Senior Research Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they conducted research on the development and advancement of systems engineering tools and methods that aid in decision support systems for complex problems. Finally, since 2018, Hester has been a Senior Engineer/Scientist at 2 Circle Consulting, Inc.

Jesse Hester, PhD's education history includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1992 to 1996. Jesse then pursued a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2006, while also earning an MBA in Operations Management from the same institution from 2004 to 2006. Finally, they earned their PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2009.
