Björn Preuß

Björn Preuß has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Björn worked as a Chief Data Scientist at 2021.AI, providing advisory services on the use of Machine Learning and AI to enhance businesses, particularly in the financial sector. Björn served as an Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School, where they lectured on Business and supervised Bachelor and Master students. Björn conducted research on the Nordic banking sector and M&A. As an Associated Researcher at the Center for Corporate Governance, they focused on Asset Management and the governance of modern AI and ML-based approaches. Björn also held managerial positions at Scanium Group, Clavis Capital, Ideanote, and Templafy. Additionally, Björn worked as a Lecturer at Lund University and an Associate Consultant at Dederichs & Partner.

Björn Preuß has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Hochschule Flensburg in 2014. Björn then pursued a Master's Degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Applied Sciences Kiel, completing it in 2016. In the same year, they joined Radboud University for their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mergers and Acquisitions, which they are expected to finish in 2021. Prior to these degrees, Björn had a study abroad experience at the University of Oxford in 2011, focusing on Business and Law School. Björn also had a brief period of study at the Private University of Applied Science Göttingen in 2010-2011, earning a Bachelor degree. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in 2017, Business Process Modeling and Analysis from Hasso Plattner Institute in 2013, and a Project Management Certificate from EY in 2011.
