Mykola Yakovliev

Mykola Yakovliev has extensive experience in the field of data science. Mykola started their career as a Junior Data Scientist at Capitan Inc in 2015 and then moved on to work as a Data Scientist at Paymentwall, Inc. in 2016. At Paymentwall, they gained valuable experience in the industry before moving on to work as a Data Scientist at Orzo in 2016. During their time at Orzo, Mykola was involved in various projects including creating and deploying a job description classifier and developing an algorithm to recognize employee knowledge from GitHub API data. In 2017, they joined Fareportal as a Data Scientist and successfully contributed to detecting fraud in online transactions in the travel industry. Mykola developed an algorithm that resulted in a 15% reduction in fraud-related losses. Most recently, Mykola has been working at 2021.AI, initially as a Senior Data Scientist and now as the Lead Data Scientist. Mykola Yakovliev obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2014. Mykola then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the same university, which they completed in 2016. Recently, from 2021 to 2022, Mykola attended Projector Institute to study IT Project Management.
