Gilda Ramos is an accomplished Reference Librarian at Middle Country Public Library since September 2016, with extensive experience as a consultant at both Stony Brook Small Development Center and North Shore Public Library. At Patchogue-Medford Library, Gilda has served in various roles including Library Assistant and Youth Services Librarian, focusing on translation, interpretation, and instruction in ESOL and conversational English and Spanish. Additionally, Gilda has provided tutoring services for English and Spanish speakers and has previously instructed ESOL and Spanish at the Patchogue Medford School District. Gilda holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University, along with a Library Assistant Technician Training degree and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Ricardo Palma University.
