Samantha Tang

Samantha Tang is a skilled Research and Development Assistant at 21st.BIO, with a solid background in biotechnology stemming from academic and internship experiences. Samantha previously interned at the University of California, Davis, where research focused on synthetic apomixis methods in rice to produce hybrid seeds. Additional experiences include optimizing protein secretion at Novozymes, assisting in media production for Drosophila, and conducting COVID-19 testing. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at the University of California, Davis, Samantha has developed expertise in molecular biology techniques, laboratory management, and data analysis.
