Jennifer Tormo Alvarez

Jennifer Tormo Alvarez is an experienced editor and creative director with a strong background in lifestyle journalism. Since December 2014, Jennifer has served as the lead editor and creative director of 225 Magazine, which has achieved national and regional recognition for its content covering food, arts, home, style, and profiles of people. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at Gulfstream Media Group from June 2010 to December 2014, first as managing editor and then as associate editor for a portfolio of ten lifestyle and interior design magazines in South Florida, including Boca Life, The Palm Beacher, Jupiter Magazine, and Miami Design. Jennifer holds degrees in Journalism, Magazine Journalism, and Psychology from the University of Florida, complemented by an educational foundation from Park Vista High School.
