Rick Westbrock

Rick Westbrock has extensive work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Rick started their career in 2001 at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., where they held positions such as Store Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, and Network Engineer. Rick also worked as a Lead Remedy Developer and specialized in security and network device configurations. In 2012, they joined QMX Support Services, Inc. as a Remedy Developer, supporting United States Navy customers. In 2014, Rick joined 24 Hour Fitness as a Remedy Administrator, where they gained experience with Linux and Informatica PowerCenter for ETL. Rick later transitioned to roles such as Senior Application Operations Engineer and is currently working as a Principal Engineer. Rick is continuously seeking opportunities to learn new technologies and programming languages in their field.

Rick Westbrock holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC San Diego. Rick has also obtained various certifications including Jira Service Management Fundamentals from Atlassian, Zuora Billing Administrator from Zuora, Dynatrace Associate from Dynatrace, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration from Microsoft, Department of Defense Secret Clearance, Security+ ce from CompTIA, and an edX Certificate for Introduction to Linux.
