Geir Beinset

Geir Beinset has a diverse work experience starting from 2006. Geir began as an intern at Kongsberg Automotive and later served as a teaching assistant at NTNU-Reguleringsteknikk. In 2006, they became the president of Start NTNU and also served as a board member of Start Norway. Following this, Geir joined Capgemini as a consultant and later worked at Capgemini Consulting Global Financial Services as a senior consultant. In 2007, they completed their master's thesis at Maritime Robotics. From 2007 to 2008, Geir worked as a consultant at Capgemini and then joined Capgemini UK plc as a senior consultant and later as a senior business analyst. Geir joined EY in 2013 and held various roles including manager, senior manager, and director until 2022. Currently, Geir is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Customer Officer at 24SevenOffice Norge.

Geir Beinset began their education in 2001 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Technical Cybernetics. Geir completed this program in 2007. In 2004 to 2005, Geir Beinset also studied at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, where they took courses in Electronics and Cybernetics as part of their Master's degree.

In addition to their formal education, Geir Beinset has obtained several certifications. In June 2008, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. Geir then obtained the TOGAF Certified Architect certification from The Open Group in June 2009. In March 2011, Geir Beinset earned the IPMA Project Management Certification Level D from Compas Consultants AS. Geir further enhanced their qualifications by completing the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training offered by Sopra Steria in November 2019. In May 2021, Geir Beinset obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Most recently, in February 2022, they received the DCAM Certification from the EDM Council. These certifications demonstrate Geir Beinset's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in various fields such as project management, architecture, and IT service management.
