Ken Lombardi has worked in various roles since 1978. Ken began their career as a Captain for Gifford Aviation in Alaska, flying Skyvans, DC-3s, and Cessna 206s. In 1986, they became the Manager of Tacoma Computer Network, and in 1989, they founded and became co-owner of Peninsula Computers and also worked as System Admin/Chief Technology Officer of HarborNet. In 2009, they became an Independent Contractor for analogman.org and in 2012, they joined 2bridges Technologies as CIO. Ken is currently working for 2bridges Tech in the same role.
Ken Lombardi's education history includes a Certification in Basic and Advanced Cisco IOS from Interprise obtained between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they attended the University of Washington from 1986 to 1987, studying Computer Science. From 1983 to 1985, they attended the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, studying Computer Programming. Ken also obtained an Airline Transport Certificate from the National Air College, San Diego, Ca in Aeronautics between 1976 and 1978. From 1971 to 1973, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, studying Physics and Computer Science. Lastly, they attended Los Angeles Valley College between 1970 and 1971, studying Electronics and Math. Additionally, Ken Lombardi has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Microsoft 365: Manage User Identity and Roles (2021), Microsoft Teams Essential Training (2021), Microsoft Teams: Successful Meetings and Events (2021), SharePoint Online Essential Training: Beyond the Basics (2021), and CySA+ (CS0-001) Cert Prep: The Basics (2020). Ken also has a Security+ certification from CompTIA.
