Sam Ranaweera has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sam began their career as a Proprietor in Training at Harvey Norman in 1999 and stayed with the company for eight years. Sam then joined Ingram Micro in 2007, where they held multiple roles including Product Manager, Market Development Manager for Symantec, and Market Development Manager for Norton. In 2011, Sam joined D-Link Australia as the Consumer Business Manager for New Zealand, responsible for strategic partnerships, new business development, and managing key account relationships. Since joining 2degrees in 2013, Sam has held several leadership positions, including Key Account Manager and Head of Digital and Telephone Sales. Sam most recently served as the Head of Broadband Sales and Partnerships, where they were responsible for setting strategic sales and operations direction, monitoring market conditions and competitor actions, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales goals.
Sam Ranaweera completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, with a minor in Pharmacology, at The University of Auckland from 1998 to 2001. From 2002 to 2006, Sam pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at Southern Cross University.
