Catherine Ioannou is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as Principal Engineer and Business Development lead at 2H Offshore since January 2017, focusing on renewables, oil and gas, and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS). Catherine has held roles including General Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Engineer, contributing to various subsea projects across the North Sea, West of Shetland, and West Africa. Key expertise includes Front End Engineering Design (FEED), marine riser and fatigue analysis, and VIV assessments. Prior experience includes a position as Analysis Engineer at AS Mosley and a Researcher role at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology. Catherine holds an MEng in Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and participated in a student exchange program in Structural Engineering at Ceske Vysoke Uceni Technicke.
