Eartha Liu (Chiu-Ping)

Eartha (Chiu-Ping) Liu is a Scientist II at 2seventy bio, specializing in the Upstream Process Development Team of Process Science, with experience in collaborating with a CRO on HEK293T Subcloning and Media Screening projects. Prior to this role, Eartha held the position of Scientist I at bluebird bio before transitioning to 2seventy bio, and has extensive experience at Amgen as an Engineer focused on manufacturing downstream process support, where process improvements and transfers were executed in a GMP manufacturing facility. Eartha also has a background in developing alternative tangential flow systems during a postdoctoral fellowship at Amgen, and previous roles include postdoctoral fellow at Academia Sinica, lab auditor and project manager at Biowell Technology Inc., and assistant research fellow at PhytoHealth Corporation. Eartha earned a PhD in Biotechnology from National Taiwan University and completed a multidisciplinary management training program in Technology Innovation and Intellectual Property Management.
