Sara Erwin Christiansen

Sara Erwin Christiansen, PhD, currently serves as a Research Scientist I - Toxicology Study Director at Charles River Laboratories since September 2022. Previously, Sara was a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at UCLA from April 2018 to August 2022, contributing to undergraduate courses in behavioral sciences and developmental biology. Earlier experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Lehigh Valley Toxicology, where multiple toxicology projects were managed, and as a Summer Intern at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, focusing on diagnostic software and clinical psychology. Sara earned a PhD in Molecular Toxicology from UCLA in 2022 and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Forensic and Toxicological Chemistry from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
