Devendra Shah

Devendra Shah, CETL, CISSP, serves as the Director of Applications & Cybersecurity at Plano Independent School District since December 2009, overseeing the alignment of technology initiatives with district goals across various departments. Previously, Devendra held the position of Assistant Director of Application Support Services, where collaboration with executives and teams ensured alignment of business processes and technology. Earlier experience includes serving as the lead engineer for a cost-saving VoIP project. In addition to this role, Devendra is also an instructor for the Cybersecurity Boot Camp at Southern Methodist University, teaching a comprehensive 24-week curriculum covering essential and advanced cybersecurity concepts. Devendra holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan Vishwavidalaya.
