Justin Short serves as the Managing Principal at Grant Street Funding since February 2019 and has been the Head Program Instructor for MIT's online Commercial Real Estate Analysis & Investment Certificate since September 2020. Prior to these roles, Justin held senior leadership positions at Hunt Real Estate Capital, Allegiant Real Estate Capital LP, B2R Finance, and Cantor Commercial Real Estate, focusing on capital markets and trading within the commercial real estate sector. Justin has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at Zicklin School of Business, where curriculum development included a Real Estate Capital Markets course. Educationally, Justin holds an MBA in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University.
