Peter Gheeraert is an experienced interventional cardiologist currently serving as a Board Member and Scientific Advisor for Cardiology at 3.LIFE since June 2023, while also holding a position as an Interventional Cardiologist at UZ Gent since October 1992. Gheeraert has extensive academic involvement as a Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology at Ghent University since October 2012. Previous roles include various fellowships in interventional cardiology and internal medicine across multiple institutions, starting from OLV Ziekenhuis Aalst-Asse-Ninove in 1988. Gheeraert holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine and Health Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine from Ghent University.
