Michael Zhong

Michael Zhong started working at 3 Rivers Capital, LLC in 2015 as a Managing Director. Michael is responsible for partnering with family/entrepreneur owned companies in niche manufacturing, value-add distribution, healthcare, and other services sectors. Michael helps portfolio companies achieve growth through investments in people, process, and systems. Prior to that, they worked at Discover Financial Services from 2010 to 2013, where they were involved in strategic business transformation in consumer banking and lending. Michael also worked in consumer lending MIS, specifically in student loans, from 2010 to 2011.

Michael Zhong earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with a minor in Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 2013 to 2015.
