Chris Vodak

Chris Vodak is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and cloud engineering. Currently serving as an Expert Backend Engineer at 31st Union since January 2025, Chris previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Zynga from September 2021 to January 2025, and also worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Zynga, Chris was a Cloud Software Engineer at Electronic Arts from March 2020 to September 2021, and a Cloud Engineer at IBM for a brief period in 2019. Chris began a career at Bioware, where roles included Software Engineer, SDET, and QA Analyst from May 2014 to September 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Admin at MHD Enterprises from July 2011 to August 2014. Chris studied Computer Science at McMurry University and attended Angelo State University.
