Carol Kim

Carol Kim is the Founder and Principal of Shasta Advisory and serves as a Board Member and Finance & Investments Committee Member at CIGA. Previously, Carol held the role of Entrepreneur In Residence at Optum Startup Studio and served in various executive capacities at Health Net, including Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Business Development, Vice President of Government Affairs and Community Investments, and Director of Public Affairs. Carol began a career in public service as a Health Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky. Educated at the University of Michigan and UC Irvine, Carol holds a BA in English.
