Cindy Abdelsalam, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2014, they worked as an Information Associate at St Peters Hospital. In 2016, they were a Consultant at Broadridge. Cindy then joined Strategic Financial Solutions in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. In the same year, they also worked as a Patient Liaison at Kofinas Fertility Group. In 2018, they began their tenure at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, first as an Administrative Coordinator, then as an Administrative Specialist, and finally as the Manager of the Health Care Investment Program. In 2019, they founded the Muslim's Women Health Hotline. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Regulatory Health Policy Project Manager at Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds.

Cindy Abdelsalam, MPH, has a strong educational background in public health and biology. Cindy earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Hofstra University, specializing in Public Health. This program was completed from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their master's degree, Cindy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University at Albany, SUNY. These degrees were completed from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Cindy has also acquired additional certifications. Cindy completed a course titled "Grammar Foundations" through LinkedIn in April 2020. Moreover, they obtained a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing, though the specific institution and dates of completion are currently unknown.
