Jessica Zhang

Jessica Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2022. Jessica began their career as a Public Service Aide at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission in 2010. Jessica then worked as a Health Educator at Peer Health Exchange, where they taught health workshops in public high schools.

In 2012, Jessica transitioned to the role of Case Manager at the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, where they coordinated care for survivors of torture and helped them access essential services. Jessica also played a key role in the organization's shift from paper to electronic records.

From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Family Wellness Center Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of Newark through the Global Health Corps Fellowship.

In 2015, Jessica joined the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation as a Program Associate, supporting education grantmaking and focusing on improving the quality of afterschool and youth development programs.

In 2018, Jessica held two concurrent roles. Jessica worked as a Research Intern at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Office of Research and Evaluation, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Fostering Resilience Initiative.

Jessica Zhang has a strong educational background in public health and public policy analysis.
