Matt Rowell

President at 360 Labs

Matt Rowell has a long history of work experience in the digital media and web development industries. In 1996, they founded and created Gamers' Alliance, Inc., a top PC gaming community website, which achieved 3 million unique visitors per month at its peak before being acquired by eUniverse, Inc. in 1999. In 2000, they worked as a Web Developer for eUniverse, Inc. and built communities, forums, and e-zine sites for popular PC and console games. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a freelance Web Developer, providing web site development for small to medium businesses, server administration, and IT services. Matt also provided IT support, web development, and marketing assistance for a chain of five mortgage broker offices throughout Oregon. In 2004, they began working for ISITE Design as a Web Developer and Digital Media Producer, providing web application development, Windows Server administration, graphic design, web analytics management, search engine optimization, email campaign management, and general web development support for client Siemens Communications North America's eMarketing department. Matt also developed several Drupal sites for other enterprise clients and managed production of photo and video assets for eLearning applications and marketing content. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a freelance Digital Media Producer, providing photography, video production, and web development services for small to medium businesses. In 2012, they also began working for PDXpano as a Principal Panoramic photographer for the Google Maps Business View program. In 2020, they began working as the Marketing & Communications Chair for IVRPA - International Virtual Reality Professionals Association. Matt also worked as President of 360 Labs from 2014 to present. 360 Labs is a boutique production agency specializing in VR and 360 immersive content for clients such as Google, Dell, Tiffany & Co, the US Coast Guard, University of Oregon, Columbia Sportswear, Honda, Daimler and many others. Matt's role in the company includes defining their service offerings, leading app development projects, pitching and drafting proposals, defining best practices for production & post, and designing the 360 Labs brand.

Matt Rowell attended the NW Film Center School of Film from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Motion Graphics and Digital Video Production.
