Syed Abul Farhan

Syed Abul Farhan has a comprehensive work experience in database management and administration roles. Syed Abul started their career as a Database Administrator at Adamjee Insurance Company Limited in 2001 and worked there until 2009. Syed Abul then joined Unilever as a Database & AIX System Administrator, where they gained expertise in database administration, AIX system administration, and ERP administration. After that, they worked at IBM Pakistan as a Database Administrator, where they played a vital role in database replication and backup solutions. Syed Abul also took on AIX system administration responsibilities. Following this, they worked at Tabba Heart Institute as a Database Administrator Team Lead, where they were responsible for the installation, configuration, and patch deployment of Oracle 11g. Currently, they are working at 360training as a Database Manager, overseeing the management of databases.

Syed Abul Farhan completed their Bachelor of Science degree at Karachi University from 1995 to 1997, with a focus on Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Syed Abul then pursued a Master of Computer Science degree at Iqra University from 2004 to 2005, specializing in RDBMS and Software Engineering. Additionally, Syed Abul Farhan obtained several certifications, including being an IBM Certified Database Associate in DB2 9 Fundamentals in May 2013, an IBM Certified System Administrator in AIX 7 in September 2012, and passing the Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure [EXAM 70-76464] certification from Microsoft in December 2020.
