Basel Al Tamimi

Basel Al-Tamimi has worked in the tech industry since 2010. Basel's first job was as a Windows Application Developer at Derayah in 2010. Basel then became a Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft in 2010, where they were in charge of running the .NET Club in BAU's IT College and evangelizing Microsoft's technologies. In 2011, they worked as an iOS Developer at Unifonic. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Mobile Lead Developer at iHorizons, where they built and organized the first in-house mobile team. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Product Leader at Intigral, a leading provider of IPTV/OTT video products, billing, and sports content services in the MENA region. Most recently, they have been the Chief Innovation Officer at VUZ, the #1 Social Immersive Streaming Platform in the MENA region.

Basel Al-Tamimi has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Al-Balqa Applied University, obtained between 2007 and 2011. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Emotional Intelligence from PROTRAINING in November 2016, and Negotiation Skills from PROTRAINING in October 2015.
