Kiran Kapur

Kiran has over twenty-five years of experience developing and implementing growth strategies in financial and commercial markets, with close to twenty years in Specialty Finance, Equipment Finance, and Asset Based Lending. As a P&L executive, he has led originations, operations, underwriting, and risk management for global equipment financing businesses with over $1.5 Billion in assets under management. Prior to co-founding 36th Street Capital in 2014, he held multiple leadership positions with the CIT Group, where he led equipment financing companies as President/COO of Avaya Financial Services, President of Agilent Financial Services, and President of Technology Rental & Services Corp. He also served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, CIT Vendor Finance, and Managing Partner of CIT's venture capital fund 4CITe. His background includes prior leadership positions with GE Capital, Ingersoll-Rand, and the Union Camp Corporation.
