Hassan Asghar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hassan began their career as a Trainee Engineer Mechanical at MM Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., where they were responsible for technical documents related to HVAC works and handled tasks related to project management. Hassan then interned at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. and DG Khan Cement Company Limited, gaining exposure to different aspects of the industry. Hassan then joined DENSO as a Working Student in the Thermal Development department, where they worked on various projects related to thermal development. Hassan later transitioned to the role of Working Student - EU EPD, further enhancing their skills. Following that, they joined FotoNow-AI as an Intern, working on the development of an efficient OCR engine using deep learning techniques. Hassan later became a Master Thesis Student at the same company, with a focus on optimizing OCR performance for industrial optical character recognition. Currently, Hassan is working at 36ZERO Vision as a Junior Deep Learning Engineer.
Hassan Asghar completed their Master's degree in Power Engineering from the Technical University of Munich from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Hassan also pursued additional certifications. In March 2021, they obtained a Computer Vision Nanodegree from Udacity. Hassan also completed the courses "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" and "Computer Vision - Object Detection with OpenCV and Python" from Coursera in August 2020.
