Anitra Freeman

Anitra Freeman has been actively involved in grassroots organizing for homeless and formerly homeless individuals since 1995. As a participant and President of the Board of Directors for SHARE/WHEEL, Anitra has played a significant role in advocating for this community. Additionally, Anitra serves on the Board of Directors and as Secretary for Real Change, where contributions include reviewing submissions, writing articles and editorials, and teaching essential skills to low-income individuals. As a member of the Seattle Raging Grannies since 2005, Anitra uses creativity to promote social justice through humorous performances. Anitra is also engaged with the 37th Legislative District Democrats as a Precinct Committee Officer since 2008. Anitra holds an Associate's degree in Computer Science from the Community College of the Air Force and has attended Western Washington University.
